Making Bags for Open Arms

The theme of our PZ class for this month and the month of December is "Make me a Servant". Our kids are learning about different ways to serve others. We are making bags to give to the children in the Open Arms program. The pictures below show the kids painting the material for the bags. Next Sunday, we are going to teach them how to sew! They will be sewing the bags, putting on a handle, and deciding on a special treat to put inside them. I have never seen a more caring group of 5th and 6th graders!

They have spent countless hours studying the book of Acts. We are so incredibly proud of each one of the kids!!

We had a blast at Main Event! We ate pizza, played laser tag, cheered for Tony :), and used our game cards to win some great prizes. Thanks so much to Mistee Clepper for the pizza, Clark and Sharon Craig for dessert, Diane and Ethan Laster for chaperoning, and Matt & Karen.

Bible Bowl Fun Night

It's finally here - Bible Bowl Fun Night! We will be leaving the church parking lot at 5:30. Please bring $5 if you are participating next week or $15 if you aren't. We will be having pizza, playing games and bowling! See you there :)
